| Treatment POINT | Combination therapy was used to improve upturned eyes. This patient had a strong upward pull of the lower eyelid. For cases like this where lowering the outer corner position is desired, a droopy-eye corner incision is a better indication than glamorous line formation. The 3-Way Outer Corner Eyelid Surgery widens the eyes outward like an outer corner incision while slightly lowering the outer corners. Additionally, the upper eyelid skin above the lashes was sagging and hiding the lashes, so we simultaneously performed an upper eyelid skin excision to create a beautiful eye arch. The upturned eye appearance is gone, resulting in a softer impression. |
