Ham Eye Correction (Upper Eyelid Skin Resection)
Treatment Details
| Treatment POINT | After double eyelid surgery, some patients become concerned about ham-like eyes or sagging caused by excess skin below the double eyelid crease. This sagging can hide the lash line, making the eyes appear smaller or less aesthetically pleasing. While various solutions exist, upper eyelid skin excision is one option. Skin is excised from the area 1mm above the lashes. This improves the sagging skin covering the lashes, creating a beautifully rounded eye arch, making the iris appear larger, and resulting in brighter-looking eyes. The scar is placed right at the lash line, making it inconspicuous and healing quite cleanly. Although it's a small area, even a slight change can significantly alter the impression of the eye area. |
