Nasal Implant Removal
INDEX
Nasal implant removal is a procedure to remove a silicone implant previously inserted into the nose. It aims to resolve discomfort, unnatural
appearance, and concerns about future complications caused by the implant, restoring the nose to its natural state and balance.
When a prosthesis has been in place for an extended period, changes in surrounding tissues or capsule formation may occur, requiring anatomical understanding and meticulous technique for removal
.
At our clinic, we perform precise examinations of your current nasal condition and,
when necessary, remove the implant while minimizing stress on the skin and soft tissues.

Features of Nasal Implant Removal at Our Clinic
Removing a nasal prosthesis is not simply
a matter of extracting it. It is crucial to carefully assess the condition of the surrounding capsule and tissue while ensuring the
shape of the nose and the texture of the skin are not compromised.
At our clinic, we address skin laxity
, nasal bridge contour
, and overall nasal balance from
a plastic surgery perspective.
We perform procedures with careful consideration, taking into account the appearance after extraction. Furthermore, to prevent indentations or deformities after extraction, we can propose future corrective treatments as needed.
Treatment Process
Design and Consultation
Before surgery, we carefully examine the condition of the nose and confirm the position, size, and condition of the prosthesis.
We will provide ample time for explanation and consultation regarding the shape of your
nose after removal and the future treatment plan.
Anesthesia
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or intravenous anesthesia.
surgery
To minimize visible scarring, an incision is made inside the nostril to remove the prosthesis. The procedure takes about 20 minutes. After the procedure, the area is secured with tape for 2 to 3 days. For those wishing to replace the prosthesis, a newly created autologous tissue prosthesis or other prosthesis is inserted.
The scar will be located inside the nasal cavity or on part of the columella, making it virtually invisible externally.
